I Need Some Sleep

Blæ. Long day. Long summer. Long everything. Still no place to live and no job. I really want a place to live as soon as possible so I can start looking for a job.

Long time no blogging too. I can't really say I've been busy. The only time I haven't been able to get to the computer is when I was in Germany for a week with my family. Other than that I've been at home with my family all the time. I'm so sick of all of them now. Not that I don't like them, I just don't want to live here right now. I want to be with my boyfriend and my friends and do something other than sit around all day. I'm annoyed at all the people who put flats and houses up for rent and either ignore us until they can tell us the place is taken or who answer right away and the flat's been takes for ages. They could update the ad for goodness' sake =_=

Anyway. I need a coat thing. I've been through Fanplusfriend and found a few good ones. Also, the Little Red Riding-hood coat at BABY were taken down from the BABY site for aages, then just got back today. I'm so happy :D I really really want that coat-thing. Sad thing is I need to lose a few centimeter. Around my bust -_- I don't think there are many physical exercises that specifically reduces the length around that particular area. Really annoyed about that. I don't think I've mentioned Fanplusfriend in my blog before. I found it a while back and reall really like the site. It has loads and loads of Loli clothing and accessories. They seem to do much more costumisation than most other sites too. Still haven't ordered anything yet because I don't have a job and I'm bloody poor =_=' Hopefully I'll win on some lottery ticket I find on the ground some where. That would be lovely, thank you. Or I could get a job. If I had somewhere to live.

Also; sad news. Jasmine You, the bassist of Versailles and HIZAKI grace project, died the 9th of August. He was an awesome bassist and also a great example of Visual Kei and feminin male beauty at it's best.

You will be missed. Thank you for everything you've done for me, the world and music.

More death; my neighbour through many years, though she lived in a home for seniors the past years, passed away last week. I will be attending her funeral tomorrow. A sad debut for the lovely loli-like dress I bought at Orsay when I was in Germany. Hopefully I can wear it at happier occasions later. She was more than 90 years old and her little sister died not long ago. At the end she pretty much gave up on life. I'm sure she's in a better place now.

Completely unrelated; I watched the 1999 live-action movie Alice in Wonderland with my sister yesterday. It was closer to the book than the Disney version, but it wasn't exactly any better. Some things are just better in books, I suppose. I also recently got The Duchess and Marie Antoinette on my computer. I hope to watch them soon. I just felt like watching some girly period-constume-drama some time ago. I hope they're good movies. If not, I can watch them for the pretty dresses ^_^

I think that'll be it for now. It's getting late, and as I said, it's been a long everything. Hopefully I can move soon. Good night!

Words of Love

The title is a HYDE song I've gotten completely on my mind lately and doesn't much apply to the blog entry :P I listened to it on repeat for quite some time today XD Here's a fanvid I found on YT:



Anyway. So yesterday I went 'shopping' with Mum in Sweden. And we ended up not buying anything at all XD But today we went back and bought the dress I tried on and liked yesterday.
<-- It looks like that. Except it's purple where that one's white. And its name is 'Lolita dress'. What blasphemy! :o But I bought it anyway. A few days ago I checked BABY's websites to check for fun stuff. (Yeah, I do that a lot..) and found something (as I usually do..). I think I'm starting to prefer BABY over Angelic Pretty just because AP is ALWAYS sold out on all the good stuff. Especially on their English site. It's not even worth checking, because I'll just end up liking something really badly, but find it to be sold out and I'll get annoyed..

O, about Lolita style; Lolita Handbook includes pretty much anything you'll ever need to know about loli-style. I love that site, it's awesome ^_^

I have to let the world know how awesome BABY's Little Red Ridinghood coat one piece dress is. Lookie lookie, oh so pretty ^_^ I really want one of those. (That's the fun stuff I found that I mentioned above and didn't elaborate..). I'm really thinking about buying it, but it's a bit too expensive for me at the moment, since I still don't have a place to live OR a job. I did, however, find out that it fit me :D That makes me happy ^_^ I'll still be working out that tummy of mine, since I've gained a bit too much weight during the past year. I didn't do any sort of work out or sports or even moving too much this whole year. I hope I can change it this next year ^_^

Oh, and in some online newspaper I found this really cute video starring a pug :D My lovely bf wants a pug some time in the future and I think I'll have to insist that if we do get one, it will have to have a pink stroller like the pug in the vid. Don't you think? :D



I really don't like dogs much at all :P I'm more a cat person. At home we have a lovely cat named Lady ^_^ Here she is wearing a russe-hat;
Isn't she just the cutest? ;D We had another cat, Lady's granddaughter, Pocahontas living with us for a few years too. Some months ago she just stopped coming to eat her food and we haven't seen her since. She had light-grey long haired fur and had some white on her paws and neck. She was wilder than Lady and barely ever let us touch her. Lady and her are the only ones of Lady's offspring and grandchildren who stuck with us for a while. Lady is not 14-ish years old and have lived with us all her life ^_^ Now she has breast-cancer because she is on the pill and she may even have a uterus-infection ); She most probably won't live too many years more. It's sad, she's such a lovely lady. We will let her live now as long as she doesn't seem to be in too much pain. She doesn't seem too bothered about all her diseases and illnesses. I hope she stays as well as sha can, for as long as she can ^_^

Chocolat

Yay, chocolate themed post :D The first one in ages too..
I discovered Kaya yesterday! I checked Baby's website for new stuff and saw they had some new collabs up. Hello Kitty and Kaya. I knew Hello Kitty already (duh!), but I'd never heard of Kaya, so I check YouTube. And found this awesomeness:



It made me laugh so hard the first time I saw it. I still smile every time I see it ^_^ For some reason it makes more sense to me that men wear dresses if they play rock or metal. Kaya's electro-pop seemed a little strange with him in a dress. But I think I'm used to it now and really like that Chocolat song ^_^

More chocolate; my sister came home from abroad last week and Mum and I baked her a lovely mocca-layer-cake. It was so good ^_^ I definitely have to bake it again. I've actually cut down on chocolate since I moved home. I used to eat it all the time. Norwegian milk chocolate = absolute love.

And even more about chocolate; I read in the online newspapers today than a man drowned in a chocolate mixing vat. That's.. an interesting death.. *giggle*.. Bad Jezzi! ø_ø

And more about Kaya; Apparently he was in a supergroup with Kamijo, Hizaki and Jasmine You from Versailles and Juka from HIZAKI grace project. And this is how it sounds;



About me: I absolutely love Hizaki ^_^ He's the most awesome guitarist ever. ( I bet a lot of people disagree, but can your fave play awesomely wearing a wig and lolita dress and look as femi-kawaii as Hizaki-sama? ^_^)

More randomness

Hah, kind of unfair for Versailles, me advertising VAMPS like that when I've advertised Versailles everywhere else XD I've been seriously addicted to Versailles for a while now. I found it a good few months ago searching youtube for random Japanese music. So I listen to this song and kind of like it. Then I forget about it and remember it again after a month or so. The I forget & remember again. So I finally dl'd their album (I promise I'll buy it some day when I can afford it!). And now I can and do listen to them all the time :D Well, not quite, or I'd be sick of them already, but at least once every day for sure. The song I first found is called Aristocrat's Symphony.

More randomness about me; I need to do something about my hair.. I got it done about Easter time, I think.. Cut and dyed purple. Which didn't last more than a day or so. That was the third time I tried to get my hair purple. It didn't work any of the other times either. Mum says I should be careful with doing anything too crazy with my hair now, since I have to think about getting a job and looking all professional. I suppose she's right. Some time in the future I wanna dye my hair like yumeru from Juliette. I found the look/guy/band when I was looking through NeoTokyo's Cure magazine. I just looked through really quickly and hoped to find something interesting. And I sure did. This picture just stood out in a very positive way :D My first thought was the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, but I read somewhere else that that wasn't what he was supposed to be. O well. Either way I still like it a lot. I've found some of Juliette's music on youtube. It's ok. Not something I'd listen to every day, but I do get parts of it stuck to my mind and I have to look it up once in a while. Since I can't dye my hair that colour quite yet, I knit a scarf with almost the exact colours and I love that scarf so much ^_^ I wore it all winter. It's a bit too hot for it now. What day is today again?

Hah, you know summer's here when you forget what day it is. I tend to forget the days the day after vacation starts. And now when I don't have school/a job I don't really have a reason to know which day it is anyway.

Aaaanyway. Thursday. A good 2 days after I wrote my first post. I'm not really planning when to post, I think I'll just do it whenever I feel like it. I handed in my job application today, so hopefully I'll get this job. Fingers & toes crossed. Or pentagramed. Pagan style, o yeah. My boyfriend got a job today, yay! Plan is we'll work up some money so we can find a place to live together some time this autumn. Hopefully somewhere close to our friends ^_^ (I really like the smilies ^_^ and the 'short fort' ^^ so you'll be seeing plenty of those).

Major news; today I clicked an advertisement on Facebook for the very first time! I always make a point of not ever clicking ads. It seemed worth it this time because there was a reeeally pretty dress which looked kind of lolita-ish. I wasn't too impressed when I actually got to the site and saw it there though. Disappointed really. I guess I'll stick with Japanese online shops to look at lolita clothes still. I don't think they have much loli at all in Norway.

I also saw VAMPS' Love Addict PV for the first time today ^_^ It's pretty good. Not as good as the song itself, of course. I'm really annoyed at VAMPS going to USA and not Europe. I'd really like to see HYDE live some day. I don't think I like VAMPS as a whole as much as I like Laruku and HYDE as a solo artist, but they're certainly not bad. I know I'll listen to Love Addict a lot through the summer.



I'm done reading the Princess ○ Princess manga! It only has 5 volumes. It makes me kind of sad that it doesn't have any more, but at the same time I know there's a chance I'll get bored of it if it goes on for too long. I guess I'll read the sequel series some time soon! I really recommend PriPri, it's so much fun! Now I've read the manga, watched the anime and watched the drama series! Wow, I feel like such an otaku...

Tomorrow I'm going shopping with Mum! I haven't been shopping for aaages... I really need new clothes. When I moved back home I went through all my old clothes and threw out a full bag of stuff that didn't fit or that I didn't like. I have surprisingly much stuff left, but when I try to find something to wear I still can't really find something I really like. I'll be nice to upgrade my wardrobe a bit.

Hello World

So I thought I'd try this blog-thing out. Not that I have anything too interested to say. My life's quite boring at the moment. I guess that's why I'm doing this in the first place. Because I'm bored. I don't even know why I'm doing this in English. I blame you, Steven! You're the last person I talked to and we talk in English. I guess I have enough English speaking friends for it to be 'worth it' to do this in English.

So, the name of this thing. Jezabel for my middle name, Loli for lolita. Because lolita fashion is cool. And because all the other names I tried were already taken. O well. "It's all about dual-name these days!" Quote from Kamikaze Girls. Good book. Good movie. I saw it for the 2nd time yesterday. Got the DVD from my lovely boyfriend for last xmas. And because of stupid regional restrictions I can't watch it on my PlayStation. Have to use my laptop. Which is fine, but I'd like to see it on a bigger screen some day.

Oh, about me. I use the name Jezabel for most of the internet, Jezzi or Jezz for short, because my first name if unpronounceable in any other language than Norwegian.
